International Conference on Machine Intelligence & Security for Smart Cities (TRUST), 6th Edition, June 03-04, 2025

SNSPA Bucharest, Faculty of Public Administration, Smart-EDU Hub and RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Department Design, Computer Sciences and Media cordially invite you to the 6th Edition of the Machine Intelligence & Security for Smart Cities (TRUST), Bucharest 3-4 June 2025. The event will host a joint hybrid workshop with the Public IT Security (PITS) Conference in Berlin.

The participation at the conference is open to academics, policy makers, practitioners, researchers and students from all areas of administrative sciences, communication, informatics and cybernetics – but not only. We also encourage the participation of specialists from the public administration bodies.

TOPICS ADDRESSED

Participant’s interventions will primarily focus on the following aspects but will not be limited only to these ones: cyber management, information sabotage, fake news, (personal) data security. The list may also include ongoing research and case studies on cybercrimes, data leaks, face recognition challenges and opportunities and IoT risks.

Presentations, as well as the Q&A sessions, will be delivered in English.

DOCTORAL WORKSHOP (NEW)

PhD. candidates are invited to the dedicated Doctoral Workshop of the conference, event that will be held on June 3rd, 2025. This new section is a vital part of our conference, providing a unique platform for emerging scholars to present their research, share innovative ideas, and engage experts in the field. The workshop will also host lectures from senior researchers on communication skills, research tools and instruments that should be in each scholar toolbox in the new era of Generative AI. 

The best presented papers will be awarded. Selection award criteria include originality of the topic, rigorous and innovative research design, policy impact of expected results.

CO-HOSTING (NEW)

The RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (HSRM) in Wiesbaden, Germany (about 12.000 Students) focuses strongly on IT security and smart systems in its research. At the core of the research is research in IT-Technology a Scieince hub "Smart Systems for Humans and Technology" for secure IT systems adapts the individual characteristics and environments of the users, which is also interesting for the administrative sector in the "Smart Governance" cluster. Through the activities of the Doctoral School "Applied Computer Science", topics of sensor and communication technology are networked with key technologies of microsystems, which is also relevant for the IT security of administrative informatics.

PUBLICATION

The articles will be scientifically evaluated and the ones accepted for publication will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be edited and printed by a publisher accredited by the National Council of Scientific Research in Higher Education and by the National Council for Attesting Titles, Diplomas and University Certificates. We encourage not only academia to publish papers, but also public administration’s practitioners. The conference’s scientific committee will select the papers that are to be presented in the conference’s plenary sessions, and the authors will be notified by e-mail.
